Optimized energy efficiency for modern residential area thanks to TEBEA®

A forward-looking residential quarter is being built by Bocholter Heimbau eG at Dinxperloer Straße 7–11 in Bocholt. The architecturally appealing ensemble consists of three buildings and comprises a total of 40 high-quality apartments with a total living space of around 2,751 square meters.

The project is characterized by its social responsibility: 32 of the 40 residential units are subsidized by the public housing promotion program of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, thus creating affordable living space in an attractive location.

A particular highlight is the ambitious energy standard: the building complex meets the EH-55 net zero standard, setting new benchmarks in sustainable residential construction.

To achieve this high energy standard, Peikko's TEBEA® Thermal Break Elements were used in the construction. TEBEA® minimizes thermal bridges at critical connection points between the building and cantilevered components such as balconies or canopies. This significantly reduces heat loss and optimizes the building's energy efficiency.
